Hey Fashloves!
First off I want to say Happy November! I hope the month is going well for you all so far and that you are enjoying the gorgeous Fall weather (I’m living through you guys!). So let me tell you guys right quick about this Florida weather. While the entire country is basking in their 70 degrees of goodness, us Floridians are still baking in the hot sun as if it’s still Summer. I am so ready to be able to sport my cardigans, sweaters, and fur! Ugh. Until then, I still try to incorporate Fall pieces into my current wardrobe which leads me to todays post (hence the title).
Top: Forever21 / Sweater: Forever21 / Skirt: Charlotte Russe / Boots: H&M / Watch: Michael Kors / Glasses: Forever21
So lets get into the details about my look for today. The skirt that I’m wearing is by far one of my favorite skirts this season. The color of the denim is perfect for Fall/transitioning out Summer outfits and I love the front button detailing along with the length. I picked this up from Charlotte Russe and got it for a great price which made my heart even more happy. I was also in a striped mood today (but didn’t want to get engulfed in heat) so this cropped top from Forever21 was pretty appropriate. I draped the sweater across my shoulders, in a very preppy fashion I might add, because I simply couldn’t wear it normally so I decided to make it the third piece in my look. The H&M boots are one of my favorite pairs of shoes and I paired it with black comfy socks to give the look a more Fall vibe. Although black & white looks are slowly becoming my thing, I had to add a little pop of print through my sunnies.
Fashtip: Want to try mixing prints but you’re a little weary about the idea? Don’t be! You can subtly mix prints as I did by doing it through your accessories. Start off with prints that have been known to complement each other (such as cheetah print and stripes) and when you become comfortable be sure to explore others.
I am so ready for the temperatures to drop (not too low now) in Florida so I could dive into all of the looks that I’ve really been in the mood to wear. Hopefully by December there is a break through and I could provide you guys with the content. Hopefully you guys enjoyed this quick post and let me know which Fall trends are your favorite for this season!
